Expanding Our Reach: 2024 Impact Highlights
This year was a landmark one for Hearts & Hammers. With your support, we:
- Doubled our footprint in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area, reaching more homeowners than ever before.
- Launched a pilot program in Warroad, MN, which successfully provided critical home improvements and will continue in 2025.
- Mobilized over 2,500 volunteers from 76 different organizations, proving that teamwork and generosity can change lives.
- Transformed the homes of 97 homeowners, giving them safer, more comfortable places to live.
Each project we take on is about more than just repairs—it’s about restoring hope, dignity, and security for homeowners who need it most. Whether it’s a fresh coat of paint, roof repairs, or accessibility modifications, these improvements provide lasting benefits.

Looking Ahead: 2025 Events & Opportunities
We’re already planning for an exciting 2025, with events and opportunities for everyone to participate.
Key Events for 2025
- Blitz Weekend – DFW (March 27-29): Join us as we rehab 10-15 homes in a single weekend. Volunteers, sponsors, and material donations are all needed.
- Golf Classic – DFW (June, Date TBD): We’re excited to bring our inaugural golf tournament to Texas.
- Golf Classic – Twin Cities (June 12): Our annual golf tournament fundraiser is a great way to support our mission while enjoying a day on the course.
- The Hammer – Twin Cities (October 31): A competitive curling tournament that helps fund our programs.
- The Axe – DFW (October 31): Get ready for some friendly competition at our axe-throwing fundraiser.
- Online Silent Auction (October 22 – November 1): Can’t attend an in-person event? You can still support our mission by bidding on exciting auction items from anywhere.
